SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system is an integral feature of modern Substations. SCADA program installed in the Substation computers enables remote control of substation equipment having motorised on/off feature, remote monitoring and data feedback from electrical interface devices such as relays, meters, bay control units etc at/to Substation computers. Control and monitoring data stored in the Substation server can be dispatched to Network Control center of the grid.
